A woman in Baringo has accused a governor of of what she terms chasing her away after she went to his office to help her meet Deputy President William Ruto.
The woman, Michelle Jepkoech claims Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis chased her away after pleading to be given a few minutes to present her case to the county chief.
Jepkoech is the lady who shouted at Ruto during is visit to Eldama Ravine recently disrupting the DP's speech.
"Kiptis chased me away," the woman told Radio Jambo in an interview on Thursday.
She claimed when she disrupted Ruto's speech, the DP instructed her to reach out to the governor who would give her bus fare as well as accompany her to Nairobi to meet the former Eldoret North MP.
She wants the DP to help her get a piece of land where she wants to raise her five children from following he death of their father.
The woman claims her attempts to get audience with governor Kiptis have been fruitless.
She said when she visited the county chief's residence, the governor's bodyguard "blocked me from seeing him and I almost spent that night in the cold".
Governor Kiptishas since denied chasing the woman away.
The woman caused the drama when Ruto was launching the Eldama-Ravine Technical Institute.
