Uasin Gishu Senator Isaac Meli has called for a lifestyle audit on Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

According to Meli, the governor has acquired a lot of wealth during his tenure at the county helm.

Meli has further claimed that most governors have taken public money to other countries to hide them for their future use following recent queries by the Auditor General.

The senator has consequently called for the governor's arrest over alleged corruption and be barred from the next general election.
