Members of the Natoli land buying company in Ndabibi, Nakuru County have called on the government to intervene in the ranging dispute over the 16, 400 land.
The 158 members mostly from the Maasai community said Tuesday land brokers are to blame, adding that the wrangles have now taken Kihiu Mwiri way, claiming that a total of six people were killed recently.
One of the victims is yet to be buried after controversy rocked the burial ceremony a week ago.
Speaking in Nakuru town, the members said: “A few people with vested interests have been taking us for a ride so that they can acquire the land which was purchased four years ago."
The members said they fear that if the government fails to take the matter seriously, more people could lose their lives.
The members bought the land from the Agricultural Development Company and there were no wrangles until the brokers came in.
