A Nakuru-based preacher has warned men stripping ladies in the country that they were attracting a curse from God.
Pastor Andrew Mwangi of Jubilee Christian church said this was showing disrespect and dishonour to the women, which was against Gods will.
“The bible admonishes us to respect and protect our women. The recent trend where we have seen women being undressed in public will attract the wrath of God to our country,” he added
Mwangi expressed bitterness to the move, arguing that no one deserved such harsh treatment and mishandling.
“It takes a real man to respect a woman. How they dress should not be an intriguing factor for you. Undressing them is inhumane. This could be your mother, sister, aunt or grandmother. It is time we learnt to respect them,” said Mwangi.
He also lamented the recent cases of rape, where old grandmothers have fallen victims of sexual abuse by men “young enough to be their great grandchildren.”
He was speaking at the church where he also called on the men to provide for their wives especially during the festive season.
“Men need to learn self-control, and It is also important for the man to fulfill the God-given responsibility of ensuring that his children do not lack what to eat or to wear,” he added.
