Uasin Gishu NASA coordinator Kipkorir Arap Menjo has urged IEBC to postpone the October 26 presidential election due to the political temperature being experienced in the country. He said if the country goes to elections in the current state the country might plunge into war."The current political environment is not conducive for any free, fair and credible elections. The elections should be delayed to a later date that will be agreeable to all candidates. IEBC should put their house order before calling for any fresh elections," he said in Eldoret town, Tuesday."IEBC lost the residue of credibility it had left when the commissioners cannot agree on dealing with some untouchables in their ranks despite the bungled elections. We cannot accept the credibility of the election body," he added. He, however, said that IEBC should unite the country rather than conducting rushed elections that will divide the country. He called upon Uasin Gishu County NASA supporters not to participate in the upcoming presidential elections."I want to urge our supporters from the region to follow our party leaders advice of boycotting the October 26th elections until reforms are made to the embattled IEBC," noted Menjo.
