Following an incident where a man hang on a helicopter carrying Cord leader Raila Odinga in Meru, Thursday, it has now emerged that he is yet to be found.
Tuko said security officers checked at a nearby Primary school to see if the pilot dropped him, but that did not happen.
"We have tried to follow up if the chopper dropped him in the nearby primary school but we have not traced him," said Igembe South OCPD Jane Nyakeruma.
According to her, efforts to trace the man who was nicknamed ''Meru James Bond", were yet to bear any fruits, but the search was still ongoing.
He is believed to be a resident in Thuuru Kathatane village, Igembe South Constituency.
It is rumoured the pilot noticed the man was hanging on the chopper, and attempted to lower it down for him to drop, but the man did not, forcing the helicopter to proceed.
The Meru incident occurred eight months after a similar incident in Bungoma, where a man hang on a chopper that ferried remains of the late Nairobi businessman and government critic, Jacob Juma, for burial in Kanduyi.
The Bungoma man was nicknamed "Bungoma James Bond".
