Gem Memberof Parliament Jakoyo Midiwo has told the Jubilee party to wake up to the fact that Kalonzo is in the opposition to stay.
Speaking during an interview with NTV's AMLive Show on Tuesday, the vocal MP noted that the former VP was capable of leading Kenyans and it was only reasonable for him to go for the flag bearer position in NASA.
"Kalonzo has the credentials to lead this country and it would be foolish of him to be in NASA without ambitions to carry the oppositions flag," he said.
"Jubilee guys are just having a wishful thinking, Kalonzo is not leaving NASA," he added.
Midiwo said that the propaganda of Kalonzo shifting to the Jubilee side of the political divide was a prayer of the Jubilee party so as to weaken the opposition.
"They have the opinion that Kalonzo will leave, making the opposition weaker team," he said.
