Embattled Gem MP Jokoyo Midiwo has gone ballistic of people believed to have been his main agents in just concluded ODM nominations.
The three terms MP, who is also a cousin to NASA flag bearer Mr. Raila Odinga, lost to Elisha Odhiambo in a closely contested election, although he has since disowned the results.
And on Tuesday, photos of Midwo beating one of the agents went viral as the MP sought to revenge on people who he accuse dog ‘chewing’ his campaign funds.
Midiwo, who also serves as National Assembly Minority Leader, is seen approaching a young man in Gem, having a little verbal exchange before kicking him at the back as the poor man escaped to the thin air.
Although he has contested the results, Midiwo is likely to run as an independent candidate in August elections.
Recently, the outspoken legislator accused Odinga’s brother, Oburu Oginga of allegedly influencing the outcome of elections in Nyanza by taking bribes, claim that Oginga has since dismissed.
The reporter cannot however independently verify the photos in which Midwo is seen beating an agent. He has not also commented on the matter.
