Speaking in Gendro Mixed Secondary School at Alego Usonga constituency Midiwo said the youth were innocent and deserved to be forgiven.

He however, continued with his onslaught against Siaya Governor Cornel Rasanga saying he does not deserve reelection.

He blamed the governor for the attack that left his car smashed.

He further urged politicians to shun politics of violence which he said is outdated and has no place in the current society.

"Candidates should embrace politics of ideas and not violence and this is why I have come here today to forgive those who were used to attack me at Nyandorera two weeks ago," he said.

Midiwo has been a fierce critic of Mr Rasanga.

He accuses him of mismanaging county resources.

The MP has since sworn to campaign against the governor to jeopardize his re-election bid.
