Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo has said he will name Jubilee bigwigs behind the NYS and Health Ministry scams, if the government does not do so in two weeks.
The ODM lawmaker said Kenyans must know who stole Sh600 million at the National Youth Service and supplied oil through Ben Gethi, one of the key suspects in the scandal.
“I know they are related to President Uhuru Kenyatta. They have eaten all the meat and are now eating medicine,” he said in Gem on Friday.
Last week, National Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee questioned former Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru, ex-PS Peter Mangiti and Josephine Kabura over loss of Sh1.67 billion at NYS.
Midiwo said Waiguru orchestrated the loot when she was a CS, and not her juniors.
“If your two-year old child steals a cow from the next home, when police come they will not arrest the juvenile but the owner of the home."
In March this year, ODM Director of Elections Junet Mohammed was named as one of those who benefited from the NYS scandal.
The Orange party however denied the allegations, saying the letter in which ODM Chairman John Mbadi was said to be instructing Thomas Mwadeghu (Minority Whip) to advise Cord legislators to go slow on the NYS saga for fear that some members of the coalition could be implicated in the mega scam, was fake.
