ODM nominated MP Oburu Odinga has disagreed with Gem MP Jakoyo Midiwo over how Siaya County should be governed.
Midiwo has in the past been a serious critic of Governor Cornel Rasanga's style of leadership and has on several occasions accused him of mismanaging county resources.
According to Midiwo, ODM leader Raila Odinga has consistently fought for devolution as a way of changing people's lives something he believes cannot be realized if a few people continue to enrich themselves.
Midiwo has declared that he will not sit down and watch the governor and his friends swindle county resources which are meant to help the public.
Speaking during a church service in Bondo on Sunday, Midiwo said he will go to the ground to mobilize people to ensure that the governor is not elected in the 2017 poll.
He further warned gubernatorial aspirants that they will be voted in 2017 based on their manifestos.
However, Dr Oburu who has always been at loggerheads with Midiwo differed with him saying that he (Midiwo) should produce evidence to directly link the governor with the embezzlement of resources as he claims.
He challenged the Members of the County Assembly to carry out a scrutiny exercise in order to come out with the evidence over alleged financial impropriety in the county.
