President Uhuru Kenyatta, has raised his voice over the disputed Migingo Island. This is after he toured Homa Bay County, Wednesday, accompanied by his deputy, William Ruto.Uhuru said the island which Kenya and Uganda, claim ownership, is in the Kenyan territory, and that officials were mapping out the island’s boundary, to end ownership conflict. He said 'everyone' knows the renown fishing island is in Kenya, despite the Ugandan government, claiming ownership."Who doesn't know Migingo is ours? Even if it's ours, we do not go making noise. We do our things with dignity," Uhuru said, as he addressed residents during a rally in Mbita Constituency.Uhuru's assurance comes few weeks after his rival, Raila Odinga's recent tour of the county, where he said his Nasa government, would reclaim ownership of the island, once it ascends to power after it wins in the August 8, polls.Raila accused Uhuru's government, of keeping silent on the matter, saying he did not care about the issue, claims Uhuru dismissed.
