(Photo: the-star.co.ke)Drama ensued in Migori county on Monday during the anti-IEBC protests which were led by Suna West MP Peter Masara.Residents who took part in the protests were seen carrying the 'remains' of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba in an improvised coffin.Their efforts to bury the coffin at the county's IEBC compound were proven futile after anti-riot police who were manning the IEBC offices dispersed them and engaged them in running battles. The protestors later burnt the coffin as they vowed to hold more demos until Chiloba is removed from office. The IEBC CEO alongside other IEBC officials have been accused by the opposition team, NASA, of bungling the August 8 poll."We're tired of gunshots. Even if you bomb us, we'll stay put until Chiloba goes home and we are given a free, fair and verifiable repeat election," said Masara."We will never have any election in Migori if Chiloba is still at the IEBC. Our voice is clear, we'll be here the whole day and Friday for more demonstrations until we are heard," he added.Masara further noted, "We are demonstrating and this should be a warning to the world that result announced by a Chiloba-led team will lead to chaos."
