Police in Migori have arrested two suspects and also impounded explosive chemicals that were being ferried to Kisumu.
County police commander, David Kirui said the chemicals that were intercepted at Isebania, had been packaged in polythene papers inside a public service vehicle.
According to citizentv.co.ke, Kirui said police have launched investigations into the matter to ascertain what the explosive chemicals were to be used for.
He added that experts will conduct laboratory tests to find out the contents of the chemicals, which he noted are dangerous and could cause massive damage.
