Known for his bare knuckled approach to issues, Miguna lambasted Chebukati as a castrated bull worse than former Electoral Commission of Kenya (ECK) boss Samuel Kivuitu whose term in office saw the country teeter towards the brink of collapse following a flawed 2007 presidential polls.
"Mr Wafula Chebukati is worse than Kivuitu. The latter was a caged bull. The former is a castrated bull tethered to a green snake called Ezra Chiloba", Miguna posted on his Facebook page.
" Chebukati has confirmed that Ezra Chiloba is fully in charge and is busy feeding the KIEMS kits with October 17 election results", read another of his posts.
The Iebc boss on Sunday led his team to a retreat in Naivasha to iron out sharp differences pitying him and CEO Ezra Chiloba on one hand and rebellious commissioners on the other hand that threatened to derail the commission's preparedness for the October 17 repeat presidential polls.
And on Monday, a visibly relieved Chebukati declared that the commission had managed to resolve its issues and was now ready for the polls.
