The Canadian-based lawyer Miguna Miguna on Wednesday dared President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto to face him in an open court.
The lawyer claimed that the Jubilee Party duo could only hide and attack him under the cover of darkness.
He dared the two to come out of protection of ‘National Security’ and face him in court saying he was ready.
“The demagogues can only hide and attack me under the cover of darkness. To the despotic duo @UKenyatta and @WilliamsRuto: Come out of your "national security" hiding dungeons and face me in open court. The #NRMKe General is ready!” said Miguna via a tweet on Wednesday.
The deported lawyer was responding via his Twitter account after Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet and Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti filed an application not to appear in court in person on Thursday, February 15 for the hearing of their roles in Miguna Miguna’s deportation case.
The two, who now claim they will be attending a meeting on national security, had been ordered by High Court Judge Luka Kimaru to appear in court to show why they couldn’t not be held in contempt of court.
