In a tweet Sunday, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared general who has since parted ways with Odinga claimed that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party chief is finally on his way out of active politics.

He laughed at Odinga's entitlement as 'Honorable Retired' in a recent government memo on top state officials and politicians set to be allocated special recognition, saying that his long political tenure is over at last.

"The illegitimate and tyrannical regime of Uhuru Kenyatta has issued a memo for the reuse of sirens to clear way for Very Important Persons (VIPs) in which Raila Odinga is classified as Hon Retired," he tweeted.

Miguna teasingly lauded the former Prime Minister for his 'political achievements', mockingly wishing him a good time outside the political limelight.

"Thank you for all your contributions, enjoy the retirement," he mocked.

Also included in the list are former Presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki, President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy William Ruto and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.

The firebrand barrister has since turned into Odinga's fiercest critic following their recent fallout resulting from the veteran leader's recent move to reach a peace agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
