Miguna, the self-declared general of the outlawed National Resistance Movement (NRM), accused US ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec of 'neutralising' the country's opposition after facilitating the recent reconciliation between Jubilee and NASA political divide.

In a tweet on Wednesday, he claimed Godec helped 'despots'; President Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto rise to power and of being behind the recent handshake between Uhuru and NASA leader Raila Odinga.

"You messed up our elections and helped the despots ascend to power illegitimately. You are bribing and compromising the "opposition," he posted.

The Canadian-based lawyer said the ambassador was no longer welcome to Kenya and asked him to leave the country immediately.

"We don't want you in Kenya. You supported the mass murder and maiming of innocent civilians. Ship out!" Miguna remarked.

This is not the first time Miguna has made such statements as in early this year he attacked Godec after he called for dialogue between Uhuru and Raila over last year's divisive polls.

“The coddler of dictators, @BobGodec, Kenyans don’t want American dirty, blood money. We are a proud, industrious and freedom-loving people,” Miguna tweeted in January.
