National Resistance Movement (NRM) Kenya leader Miguna Miguna has revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is determined to fight him beyond 2022.
The outspoken lawyer said on Monday that the commander in chief is so scared of him that he will ensure he never settles to vie for any senior elective position in 2022 before he leaves State House.
Miguna said his presence in Kenya gives Kenya's fourth president sleepless nights and his only best solution is to have him out of the country.
"Why the despots want me to apply for citizenship I have and and never lost?" Miguna said in relation to his troubles with the government.
"It is like destroying an engineer's degree and demanding that he registers for grade One. So that I can disqualify myself from a major seat in 2022 and nullify all the 13 court orders I have obtained."
Miguna is keenly interested in politics and his first stub during the August 8 general election came unsuccessfully when he lost his gubernatorial bid to Jubilee's Mike Sonko. He contested on an independent ticket.
His outspokenness has earned him support from majority Kenyans especially those in Nairobi who expect him to contest for a senior post during the 2022 general polls.
He was recently appointed Nairobi Deputy Governor but the Jubilee Party has resisted Governor Mike Sonko's new appointment over Miguna's disagreements with State House.
