Former Nairobi County gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has trained his guns on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for allegedly running down the country and silencing dissenting voices even as he vowed to win the battle against the Jubilee duo.
In a series of tweets, the Canadian-trained lawyer took an issue with the current Jubilee administration which he accuses of heavy-handedness in handling NASA coalition demonstrators who are calling for reforms at the IEBC ahead of the repeat presidential polls slated for October 26.
"I swore to beat the despotic @UKenyatta & @WilliamsRuto until we defeat them-BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY," said one of the tweets on his twitter handle.
"Liberation is never given. It's fought for and won.The Kenya freedom fighters will fight and win. No surrender. No fear," he said in one of his earlier tweets.
Miguna's sentiment comes at a time when NASA has stepped up its demonstrations against the poll body with protestors turning bloody in some of the opposition strongholds following violent confrontations between the police and the demonstrators.
