Former Raila Odinga political adviser and aspiring Nairobi Governor Miguna Miguna has promised to ensure that Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) is closed once elected Nairobi governor.
The outspoken lawyer and politician who has been on the offensive since he announced his bid for Nairobi gubernatorial seat said he will do this by 'exterminating' corruption in the city.
"@EACCKenya is a dead toothless dog. I'm going to exterminate corruption in the city so that the EACC can be closed," Miguna tweeted on his account on Thursday.
Miguna tweeted this shortly after it emerged that there were attempts to impeach his arch-rival Nairobi governor Evans Kidero over the city problems.
"The chaos at the Nairobi City County Hall today demonstrates the complete and total failure by @KideroEvans . I'll restore order in 2017," he added in another tweet.
He noted that Nairobians had made a huge mistake by electing 'a certified thug and Dean of Looters @KideroEvans' and the 'consequences of that error are now obvious'.
