Despite his fierce persistent criticism on Nairobi Goveror Mike Sonko, lawyer Miguna Miguna may have after all accepted surprise nomination as City Hall deputy.
On Wednesday evening, a letter signed from Sonko addressing Speaker Beatrice Elachi recommended Miguna for the top job.
"I hereby forward lawyer Miguna Miguna's name for vetting in the assembly for deputy governor post. He meets all the requirements," read the letter.
And the move brings into culmination viscious fights in City Hall that has even seen Sonko accusing OP of meddling in his affairs.
Previously, Miguna had termed Sonko as an 'illiterate drug baron' who cannot govern Nairobi.

But the decesion by lawyer Cliff Ombeta, who has been representing Miguna Miguna in the ongoing case about his nationality to pick the letter speaks volumes.
