Deported NASA coalition activist Miguna Miguna has apologised to Kenyans and his supporters.
This is after he cancelled his planned phone interview with NTV on Sunday.
"I am on NTV Kenya today 1st April at 9pm, Kenyan/ East African Time. Dr. Miguna Miguna, General of the National Revolutionary Movement of Kenya," said the politician, who is stuck in Dubai, on Sunday.
Miguna who was deported from JKIA on Wednesday last week, had been detained in a toilet at Terminal 2, since Monday, March 26, after he arrived from Canada where he had been deported on February 6.
In his apology, the former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate said he could make it to the interview due to unavoidable circumstances.
"Patriotic Kenyans and supporters, I apologize for the last minute cancellation of the NTV Kenya interview tonight. I couldn’t make it due to unavoidable circumstances. Happy Easter Comrades," he said through his social media accounts.
He had appeared on KTN on Saturday through, phone call where he said his health was deteriorating.
Miguna also revealed that he was allowed access to proper medication by a senior UAE government official.
"Finally, the professional and humane side of the United Arab Emirates exhibits itself. A senior government official, Sheikh Khalid, is escorting me to go get proper medical tests and treatment arising from the barbaric assault, torture and chemical poisoning by the tyrannical Jubilee regime," he said.
