Supporters of NASA coalition on Monday manhandled outspoken Canadian based barrister Miguna Miguna outside Voi High Court.
Accompanied by city lawyer Edwin Sifuna, the two sped off from the venue as supporters allied to Taita Taveta Governor Granton Samboja became hostile.
It could not be immediately established why they faced hostile reception but sources claim that they are linked to Samboja's court tribulations.
Earlier, the court had dismissed a case challenging election of the Wiper governor on grounds that it lacked merit.
Despite passing the People's Assembly in a stormy sitting, Taita Taveta Assembly has been accusing Samboja of dalliance with Jubilee administration.
And the self proclaimed National Resistance Movement General has been critical of NASA leaders believed to be supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta.
It it not the first time the controversial lawyer is facing hostility given that he survived possible death orchestrated by Raila Odinga's supporters when the two differed.
