[Photo|Miguna Miguna]Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has expressed disappointment in the August 8 election, saying it was worse.He attacked the electoral body, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), saying its commissioners, managers, chairman Wafula Chebukati, and CEO Ezra Chiloba should be jailed for committing illegalities against the people of Kenya.This is after the Supreme Court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's victory in the August polls, saying IEBC conducted an election marred by irregularities."The IEBC and its chairman Wafula Chebukati violated the Constitution and committed serious illegalities against the people who must not pay their lawyers," he said, through Twitter, Saturday.According to him, the election was worse than that of 1966, and worse than retired President Daniel Araap Moi's mlolongo system of voting."The 2017 general election was worse than 1966 ''Little General Election". It was far worse than Moi's mlolongo.""We shall never ever accept our democratic systems to be compromised to make William Ruto (deputy president) a life president in 2022," he added.Miguna also attacked the Attorney General Githu Muigai, saying he is paid millions of shillings by Kenyans to advise the national government, only for him to be partisan.Muigai was an amicus curiae in the presidential petition.
