Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has hit out the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) for calling on expansion of government.According to NCCK leaders led by Secretary-General Reverend Canon Peter Karanja, the law should be changed to create the positions of the office of the official leader of opposition, as well as that of a prime minister and two deputies in order to help promote inclusivity and ownership of the government.Speaking to the press on Tueasday, they further called for a national dialogue between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga to reduce ethnic tensions witnessed during the August 8 and October 26 elections.Miguna has however dismissed NCCK's proposals saying it is confused. He further noted that what the country is in a crisis of leadership but not position."The NCCK is confused: Kenya faces a crisis of leadership; the subversion of the Constitution; & an emerging despotism; not lack of positions," Miguna said.
