On Saturday, Miguna slammed Odinga for praising the departed heroine Winnie Mandela at the same time praising Daniel Moi who he termed as a dictator and Africa's shame saying with this, he (Odinga) cannot represent a positive transformative change for Africa.

"No one can represent a positive transformative change for Africa when he or she praises the departed heroine Winnie Madikizela-MANDELA while in same breath praises a bone-cracking dictator and Africa's shame, Daniel Toroitich arap MOI. We must be honest and upright or be condemned," read a tweet by Dr. Miguna Miguna.

He went ahead claiming that what Odinga showed Kenyans when he met with former president Daniel Moi was nothing less than hypocrisy. He condemned Moi's 'killings' saying all he deserves is dying in jail and not to be worshipped.

"What is reprehensible and depraved are those praising a frail bone cracking dictator who murdered thousands of innocent Kenyans, including Dr. Robert Ouko, Alexander Muge, Father Kaiser, Titus Adungosi, and many more. He should die in jail. Not be worshipped. Shame on hypocrites," he added.

Raila Odinga on Thursday met with Moi to wish him well after long periods of ailing and to discuss the state of Kenya and its stability. Kenyans speculated the meeting with a good number saying it was a plan to mess DP William Ruto's presidential bid come 2022
