Self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna was on Tuesday arraigned in Kajiado High Court and charged with administering an illegal oath.

At Milimani Law Courts, several NASA lawyers had questioned the intent by the state to charge him outside jurisdictions where he was arrested.

But at Kajiado a defiant Miguna refused to take plea to charges, insisting that he should be arraigned in a Nairobi court.

According to the charge sheet, Miguna is accused of administering Raila Odinga with oath besides prescribing to an illegal group.

"On 30th January, jointly with others not before the court, organised a meeting without informing OCS of Central Police station.

"At Okoa Kenya on February 1st, professed to be a member of National resistance Movement, a group declared an organised criminal group," read part of the charge sheet.

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i had declared NRM a criminal group thus banning all her acivities.

Despite a court order to produce Miguna at Milimani Law Courts, IG Joseph Boinet violated the order again.
