Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate and self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna has hit out Deputy president William Ruto over his defence on Eurobond II.
Ruto on Friday defended Eurobond II and the Jubilee government’s growing appetite for external loans.
While speaking at Kiawara in Nyeri as he commissioned the construction of Kiawara-Ngaringiro road, the DP said the Sh200 billion secured on Wednesday in London would be spent on development.
He added that the hefty loans would be used to fund the Jubilee government’s Big Four Agenda.
Ruto also noted that the Jubilee administration will continue to borrow. This is despite criticism from a section of Kenyans and the opposition.
In a rejoinder, Miguna who was recently deported to Canada, accused Ruto of being a thief.
The lawyer added that the DP deserved five life sentences following his "transgressions " against Kenyans.
"This thief, despot and demagogue@WilliamsRuto deserves five life sentences for his EGREGIOUS TRANSGRESSIONS against The Kenyan People," said the general in a tweet, Friday.
Miguna added that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto should be removed from power.
"Let's get rid of these shameless stone-age dictators fast!" he noted.
