National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared general Dr Miguna Miguna has now accused opposition cheif Raila Odinga of taking part in the recent drama that surrounded his deportation from the country.
Miguna who is bitter with Raila who he accuses of failing to protect him after he organised and oversaw his swearing-in as the people's president on January 30, in April hit out at the ODM Party leader for failing to intervene in the deportation saga.Miguna said all those who abated his suffering and deportation will be 'punished'."I know that both Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga are behind the barbaric, inhumane and cruel detention, torture and forced exile I have been subjected to," the outspoke lawyer said in a Tweet that has generated heated debate online."Let me assure both men that they will be punished... no matter how long it takes," he added. He said conventionally, nature will expose the two leaders and Kenyans will get to know the truth about who was behind his suffering.
Miguna has consistently accused President Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto of orchestrating a well-executed plan to have him deported because of his outspokenness on ills including corruption that is currently bedeviling the country.Miguna was among opposition leaders who oversaw Raila's inauguration as the People's President at Nairobi's Uhuru Park in an event that was not attended by the three other NASA leaders - Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.
