Opposition chief Raila Odinga has said Miguna Miguna is to blame over his clash with the government in efforts to have him return to Kenya.
Speaking during his trip abroad, Raila said the firebrand politician has refused to cooperate and have him cleared.
Raila explained how they agreed with President Uhuru Kenyatta during the handshake that Miguna will be allowed to return to the country.
He, however, said when Miguna Miguna later touched down at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, he refused to hand over his passport for stamping.
"I went to the airport and took Miguna's hand to take him away, the officers told me they have no problem and Miguna should only hand over his passport for stamping. He refused and said he doesn't have it," Raila said.
Raila, who was sworn in by Miguna Miguna as the peoples president, said immigration officers together with those from the Canadian embassy went with documents for Miguna to sign and be cleared but he tore them.
"Miguna Miguna has been the problem in the quest to have him return to Kenya. He is unnecessarily stubborn," Raila said.
He urged Miguna to follow required procedures and will be allowed back to Kenya.
