Self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna expressed his sorrow following the death of three Gor Mahia fans.
The fans who were headed to a match at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos county on Sunday, perished in a road accident in Mlolongo town along Mombasa Road.
Other fans suffered serious injuries and were rushed to Shalom Community Hospital in Athi River.
Taking to his twitter page, lawyer Miguna sent his condolence message to the families and friends of the deceased.
"My sincere condolences to the families and friends of the 4 KOGALO FANS who perished in the grisly road accident at Mlolongo. Rest In Peace," twitted Miguna, Sunday.
Vocal ODM politician Babu Owino also sent his condolence message and wished those who were injured quick recovery.
"My prayers are with the family, close friends and relatives of Gor Mahia fans who have been reportedly involved in a fatal road accident at Mlolongo leading to the death of at least two people and several others nursing ugly injuries," posted Owino on Facebook.
"May God grant all those who are recuperating speedy recovery," he added.
