The National Resistance Movement Miguna Miguna has alleged that police are planning to arrest several NASA leaders on Monday night ahead of Opposition leader Raila Odinfa's swearing-in.
According to Miguna, the government is desperate and wants to sabotage plans to the oath taking plans.
The lawyer said Siaya senator James Orengo, Dogoretti North MP Simba Arati, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and former MP Ishad Sumra are the leaders to be detained illegally.
The former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate however expressed confidence that police won't succeed in their plan.
He added that the swearing-in of their leaders will go on as planned.
"The despotic @PoliceKE are desperate to sabotage the SWEARING-IN of The People's President @RailaOdinga , so they are planning to ILLEGALLY DETAIN @orengo_james ,@SimbaArati, @IrshadSumra , @Babu_Owino and @MigunaMiguna tonight. They won't succeed. The swearing-in will take place!" Miguna shared on his twitter page, Monday.
