Speaking to BBC World Service on Thursday, Ichung'wa said that nobody should believe anything that comes from Miguna.

"He is a man that will make all manner of allegations. He never ever got into Kenya," Ichung'wa told the London based broadcaster on phone.

He noted that Miguna came aboard an Emirates flight from Canada via Dubai using his Canadian passport which he refused to surrender on arrival to Nairobi for stamping.

"According to the law you cannot be allowed entry into any country in the world without a passport. That is why I say Miguna never ever got into Kenya because he was not cleared by the immigration staff at the airport. He simply refused to give his document of transport," he added.

The MP asserted that if Miguna had no passport, as he claimed, he would not have been allowed to board the Emirates flight at Toronto, Canada.

"This is a guy only interested in drama. He arrived in Nairobi and said he had no passport to surrender and was demanding that he be cleared using his National ID card against the law," said Ichung'wa.
