Canadian-based lawyer Miguna Miguna, says Raila Odinga should blame himself for what he is going through now.
Miguna Miguna said Raila is only paying the painful price of ignoring his advice when he was his advisor.
"That Cord now wants to remove the IEBC commissioners from office but I want to tell them that their efforts are futile. The issues could have been solved already if he (Raila) could have listened to me,’ said the Peeling back the Mask author during an interview on radio Mayienga.
He called the actions (protests) being carried out by the former Premier as "swimming in Lake Victoria infested with hippopotamus heading to the Rift Valley."
Miguna revealed that he had earlier cautioned Raila not to pick the current Independent and Electoral Boundaries Commission chair Isaak Hassan for the post.
The lawyer said he also told the ODM party leader not to chose Keriako Tobiko, the Director of Public Prosecutions on grounds that the two could not be trusted.
‘I told him not to trust the two but he refused. Instead of paying a listening ear to me, he fired me. Now he is dancing to his tunes. IEBC will leave office but demonstrations will not help at all. I wish he could have listened to me,’ said Miguna.
