Relationship between embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna and ODM leader Raila Odinga has continued to diminish following the former's forceful deportation from the country.
Despite numerous court orders to have him surrendered to court, the government has stubbornly maintained that Miguna fraudulently acquired Kenyan passport in 2009.
Just a few days after blaming Raila for doing 'little' to free him from authorities, Miguna now suspects that the veteran opposition leader may have conspired with President Uhuru Kenyatta to muzzle his freedom.
At an explosive interview with Canadian based TRT World on Nesmakers, Miguna said: "This order would have only come from president (Uhuru) himself and I suspect even those he has entered into deal with (Raila).
"The reason why I am saying this, it is not easy for a minister to disobey eleven court orders that ordered for my release," said a charged Miguna.
According to him, the wider plot by Raila and Uhuru aimed at rendering him a foreigner as an alternative way of limiting his political activities.
"The wanted me to return as a foreigner so that I could not continue running NRM and political activities in Kenya," he added.
When Miguna arrived at the JKIA, Raila was among those who made attempts to secure his freedom, even though he declined to give the media an interview.
Throughout Miguna's debacles at the airport, Raila secretly flew to Tanzania for Easter holidays and has never openly discussed the controversial deportation.
