Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has attacked the Jubilee government, following the arrest of NASA coalition's Technical adviser, economist David Ndii.

NASA adviser Salim Lone on Sunday night said Ndii was arrested in Diani, Kwale county following his appointment as the People's Assembly steering committee chairman.

"David's family members have reported that police picked up Prof. Ndii an hour ago in the Leopard beach area of Diani on the south coast. The family was told that he had been taken to the Diani Beach Police Station but when they went there they were told he was not there nor did they know where he was. No reason was given for his arrest.Prof. Ndii was three days ago appointed the chairman of the steering committee for the People's Assembly organizing the 12th December inaugural events.NASA lawyers from Nairobi and the coast are trying to locate where he is being held," read Lone's statement.

Through Twitter, Miguna Miguna attacked President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, saying: "The illegal abduction & detention of @DavidNdii by the Mungiki/Chinkororo @PoliceKE demonstrates three things: First, the despotic duo @UKenyatta and @WilliamsRuto are MORTALLY SCARED of the #NRM; second, they are FATALLY WEAK; and third, they know that we shall defeat them."
