[Photo| Standard]Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna criticised President Uhuru Kenyatta moments after he named his new cabinet who will serve in his second and final term in office. While naming the cabinet, Uhuru retained six Cabinet Secretaries who served in his first term and brought in three new faces who include Former Turkana Senator John Munyes, outgoing Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko and Ex-Marsabit Governor Ukur Yatani.Among those retained are Fred Matiang'i (Education and Interior Coordination), Joe Mucheru (ICT), James Macharia (Transport), Henry Rotich (Treasury), Charles Keter (Energy) and Najib Balala (Tourism) have elicited divided opinions online. Miguna took issue with the retention of Matiang'i and appointment of Tobiko. The National Resistance Movement (NRM) general accused Uhuru of rewarding the Education CS for committing genocide against opposition supporters.He further alleged that the former DPP facilitated the looting of public resources and perpetuated the culture of impunity."The Illegitimate President @UKenyatta has rewarded @FredMatiangi for committing genocide against @CoalitionNASAKe supporters; Keriako Tobiko for facilitating the looting of public resources and for perpetuating the culture of impunity," noted Miguna in a tweet, Friday.
