Lately, the fierce lawyer, who has been deported twice from the country, is accusing Raila of sabotage among other things.

In a series of tweets on Sunday, Miguna said Raila should now hand over the mantle to young leaders and retire peacefully.

"Thank you for fighting against dictatorship for the last 30 years. You are now tired. Let young, vibrant and committed  revolutionaries pursue justice," he said.

He added: "By January 30th, revolution was ripe but Raila failed to give people the direction which was in his written speech that he abandoned. He surrendered and betrayed patriots."

On March this year, Raila buried a hatchet with President Uhuru Kenyatta thus bring to an end a protracted political crisis in the country.

Following his decision to participate in administering Raila with oath, Miguna Miguna has never been forgiven by the government.
