Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate and NRM general Miguna Miguna has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto over their leadership.

Speaking during a press conference in Nairobi on Thursday, Miguna condemned the two leaders for allegedly threatening the press.

He further cautioned the President that Kenyans rights are not negotiable.

"We wish to condemn in the strongest language possible the dictatorial strict and the strong armed tactics that are being employed by the illegitimate Jubilee president called Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto at threatening, intimidating and suppressing the press," said the general.

"We would like to warn Uhuru Kenyatta that our rights are not negotiable, we are not going to beg for those rights. They are enshrined entrenched and protected in the constitution 2010," stated Miguna.

The lawyers warning came two days after government shut down three leading TV stations for broadcasting the swearing in of NASA principal Raila Odinga as People's President.

"We want to warn you today that your power is only in the goons that you have armed; the Mungiki and the few police in uniform," added Miguna.
