Self proclaimed NASA's National Resistance Movement General Miguna Miguna has asked all opposition supporters to take down portraits belonging to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) wing of the NASA coalition on Thursday, addressed the press, two days after Miguna led the swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People's President at Uhuru Park.
Miguna Miguna had said NRM would use the presser to call NASA supporters into action.
"We shall also call our people to action! We have obtained full authority to act from the President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Raila Amolo Odinga!" Miguna said before the presser.
During the presser at Okoa Kenya Offices, the former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate said portraits of Kenyatta should be taken down as NRM organises for bonfires to burn them.
He said Uhuru was an illegitimate president and so his portraits should be replaced by those of Raila.
"Take down portraits of illegitimate president Kenyatta from your premises all over the country. We'll organize bonfires to burn them. We'll distribute portraits of the legitimate President of Kenya Raila Amolo Odinga," said the politician.
