Social media reports claim the home of National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna was on Friday morning blown by people believed to be the police, in order to arrest him.
It is said he was later arrested and taken to unknown destination, after he administered an oath to NASA leader Raila Odinga during his swearing-in on January 30.
He had dared the Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i to arrest him, citing the arrest of Ruaraka MP T.J Kajwang on Wednesday.
Miguna said Kajwang did nothing during the swearing-in of the NASA coalition leader that should warrant arrest.
"I am the one who administered the oath. They should come and arrest me. Kajwang did nothing that should warrant his arrest. I am the one who signed the oath. Let them come for me," said the former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate.
