[Photo| Courtesy]The National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for honouring Martin Kamotho aka githeri man during the 54th Jamhuri Day National celebrations. Githeri man was among 250 people who received State commendation at State House, Nairobi on Tuesday, December 12, 2017.Kamotho's bestowment however sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans and pundits who thought he did nothing for the country to deserve the commendation. Expressing his disappointment on social media, Miguna indirectly accused the Uhuru and Ruto of being clueless political vagabonds. He further noted that their act could not legitimise demagogues."The illegitimate despotic duo are clueless political vagabonds. Bestowing state "honour" on a Kikuyu man eating githeri in a plastic bag is like giving a gold medal to a Luo because he is eating ugali and fish on a calabash. The act cannot legitimise demagogues," Miguna noted, Wednesday.
