Aspiring Nairobi governor Miguna Miguna is once again engaged in a social media war with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko where he has accused Sonko of using the police to threaten his life.
Through a series of tweets on his account, Miguna who termed Senator Mike Sonko a 'drug lord' said that on Saturday alone he had received two death threats.
"Did the drug lord @MikeSonko send you to issue me with a DEATH THREAT? @KenyaPolice3 @DPPS_KE," read one of Miguna's tweets.
He added: "This is the SECOND DEATH THREAT I have received today. The cowards will not stop us. @KenyaPolice3 @DPPS_KE."
Miguna also went ahead to discredit Sonko's manifesto while maintaining that the senator didn't deserve to serve in any public office.
"Kenyans must not allow a convicted criminal and drug lord to threaten to turn an environmental gem like Uhuru Park into a parking lot," tweeted Miguna.
The former Raila Odinga political adviser has been trying to sell himself as a leader of integrity who is incorruptible and the only one who can turn around the Nairobi City County misfortunes.
