Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura now says that embattled National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader Miguna Miguna could be having psychological shortcomings.
In an interview on Radio Jambo Saturday, the Jubilee lawmaker said that the besieged lawyer's conduct has been questionable lately, calling for expert examination.
Miguna on Monday collided with immigration officials at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), upon his return from Canada, leading to his deportation, with Mwaura now saying that his quarrelsome behaviour is alarming.
"I think he needs some kind of mental checkup because his bullish character seems to be going too far," he said.
He also poked holes into the firebrand barrister's political activities, accusing him of inconsistency.
"He said that he voted President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August 8 polls but again spearheaded opposition leader Raila Odinga's mock presidential inauguration months later and is now again calling Raila a traitor, I find this very inconsistent," said Mwaura.
Miguna has since been denied entry into the nation and deported to Dubai, in a move likely to have resulted from his refusal to follow the immigration due diligence.
He has, however, remained steadfast, maintaining that he is a Kenyan citizen and will not give in to the state's push to strip him of his nationality.
