With cloud of uncertainty still hanging on the repeat presidential election scheduled for October 26, former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna has hit out at presidential candidate Dr. Ekuru Aukot over his latest decision ahead of the poll.

Saturday, Dr. Aukot confirmed that he will take part in the poll which NASA leader Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka have boycotted. However, Aukot's decision irked Miguna who accused him of being used by Jubilee to legitimize a flawed electoral  process.

"My friend @EAukot has allowed himself to be @UKenyatta's chaperone in a fake CORONATION RITUAL," Miguna said in a statement on his Twitter handle.

Initially, Dr. Aukot had threatened not to take part in the poll if the electoral body IEBC does not reverse its decision to include all the 8 presidential candidate who took part in the August 8 contest in the repeat election. However, the Third-Way Alliance leader changed his decision on Saturday even as he insisted that the scheduled election will go on with or without Raila.
