Former Nairobi governor aspirant Miguna Miguna has had Kenyans flocking the search engine Google the most for the month of October.

According to a report by Google, Miguna’s “demagogue” tops the list of trending searches for the month of October after the lawyer used it during a TV interview with NTV's Larry Madowo.

While talking about Deputy President William Ruto, Miguna had said:

“He will never be president, too dangerous… the man is a demagogue.”

Kenyans have been frequenting the search engine looking for the meaning of the word since then.

In a loose translation, 'demagogue' means a leader who makes use of popular prejudices and false promises in order to gain power'.

Other trending searches were Jimmy Wanjigi, Harvey Weinstein and Dennis Oliech.
