The footage of Miguna Miguna walking along the streets of Nairobi has caused confusion on social media.

The striking resemblance between the NRM General and the man in the video caught the attention of many Kenyans on social media from the way he walked to the way he dressed.

However, Miguna has responded to the claims that he had been spotted in the streets of Nairobi.

The matter was brought to Miguna’s attention by a Twitter user 'Salome Lugard'. 

Miguna advised Salome not to be distracted by the people distributing the video terming them as “idlers”

"Salome, don't be distracted by idlers in Nairobi ,” Miguna tweeted.

The man held an umbrella while walking and had a Muslim cap just like Miguna. Some Kenyans on Twitter alleged that they have spotted the man several times and even extended a greeting to him.

The controversial lawyer has been out of the country after he caused a three day drama at JKIA during his entry after deportation to Canada by the Kenyan government.

This came after taking part in the mock swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga as Peoples' President on January 30.
