Self-described National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has unleashed a team of lawyers to argue his case against his deportation.
The controversial lawyer and socio-political commentator revealed today that he had already instructed lawyers to do his bidding at the courts.
''I am going to fight this legally, constitutionally and apolitically. I have instructed lawyers to initiate application and proceedings to invalidate, to nullify what Matiang'i did in terms of deportation, to reinstate my passport which they took,'' Miguna said.
Miguna Miguna spoke today to the BBC World Service in an interview.
Apart from having his deportation reversed, Miguna wants the move to declare NRM an illegal outfit quashed.
He was bundled into a plane last week by immigration sleuths for allegedly irregularly acquiring citizenship.
The litigation process initiated by Miguna's lawyers adds another layer to the Miguna deportation debacle that continues to grip the country.
