Self declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna Miguna has revealed that he will travel back to Kenya as soon as possible.
In an interview with Voice of America (VOA) in his Toronto Canada office, the fiery lawyer stated his lawyers had already filed a petition to have him return back to Kenya adding that as soon as the matter is dealt with he would jet back.
“As soon as I can go. I know my wife will not be happy to hear this, but some of these things you have to decide how you want to live your life and the legacy you want to leave behind. As we speak, my lawyers have filed a petition today.” he said.
Miguna rubbished claims that the government was planning to block him from returning to Kenya stating that he cannot be denied from traveling back to his home.
“I’ve just received reports that Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto are saying that it doesn’t matter how many orders I obtain. I may obtain a million orders but they will never allow me back to Kenya. My message to Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto is this, Kenya does not belong to you and I’ll be back. Sorry,” Said Miguna.
Elsewhere, Miguna in a series of tweets noted that President Kenyatta and his deputy will soon be defeated and urged opposition supporters not to relent in seeking for reforms.
"A special message to NRM members, patriots and friends of Kenya: I'm alive, strong, and fully committed to the cause. Remain focused, disciplined and alert. We are unveiling NRM branches and cells all over Kenya and the world. The despots must fall within 2 months! Viva.
"The NRM's eyes are fixed on the (a) removal of the despots from power; (b) holding a fresh and credible election soonest; (c) fixing the boundaries, census and registration; and (d) making Kenya a democratic federal, parliamentary system. Anything else is strategic voodoo!" he posted.
